We also collect usage data — pages visited, search queries, and listing views — to improve the Platform. We do not collect financial information as there is no payment system on Koiree Rento.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate and improve the Platform, to enable communication between owners and renters, to send service-related notifications (such as OTP verification), to respond to your support queries, and to detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
3. Information Shared Publicly
Property owner names, phone numbers, and listing addresses are visible to all users of the Platform as part of the listing detail. This is intentional — Koiree Rento provides full, unblurred contact information to renters. Owners should only list phone numbers and addresses they are comfortable sharing publicly.
4. Information Shared with Third Parties
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with service providers (such as Supabase for database hosting) who assist in operating the Platform, subject to confidentiality agreements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
5. OTP and Authentication
We use OTP (One-Time Password) for phone verification. Phone numbers used for OTP are processed through our authentication service provider (Supabase). We do not store OTPs after they expire.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information as long as your account is active. Listing data is retained until you delete your listing or close your account. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at support@koiree.in.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure database storage, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
9. Children's Privacy
Koiree Rento is not directed at children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
10. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may update your profile at any time from your dashboard. To request account deletion or data export, contact us at support@koiree.in.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the Platform or email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
